Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Lohajung
The journey begins with arrival at Lohajung, a small mountain village that serves as the starting point of the Roopkund Trek. Trekkers meet the trekking team, complete preparations, and attend a briefing about the upcoming trek.
The rest of the day is spent acclimatizing to the mountain environment and enjoying the scenic beauty of the surrounding Himalayan landscapes.

Day 2: Lohajung to Didna Village
The trek begins with a descent through dense forests followed by a gradual climb toward Didna Village. The trail passes through scenic landscapes with beautiful views of valleys and traditional mountain settlements.
Trekkers reach Didna Village and spend the night surrounded by peaceful Himalayan scenery.

Day 3: Didna Village to Ali Bugyal
The trail continues toward Ali Bugyal, one of the largest and most beautiful alpine meadows in Asia. The trek gradually ascends through forests before opening into vast green meadows offering breathtaking views of surrounding Himalayan peaks.
The beautiful Bugyal meadows provide a perfect camping location with panoramic mountain views.

Day 4: Ali Bugyal to Patar Nachauni

Day 6: Bhagwabasa to Roopkund Lake – Return to Patar Nachauni
This is the most exciting day of the trek. Trekkers start early in the morning and ascend toward Roopkund Lake, located in a glacial basin surrounded by towering Himalayan peaks.
The mysterious lake, known for the ancient human skeletons found around its shores, creates a fascinating and unforgettable experience for trekkers.
After spending time exploring the lake and enjoying the breathtaking surroundings, the group descends back to Patar Nachauni campsite.

Day 7: Return Trek to Lohajung
