The Char Dham Yatra is more than a journey through the Himalayas. It is a pilgrimage through ancient traditions, sacred rivers, mountain valleys and some of India's most revered temples.
Beginning from Rishikesh, the journey takes you through the Garhwal Himalayas to the four sacred Dhams — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
From the first steps towards Yamunotri to the peaceful surroundings of Badrinath, every day brings a new landscape, a new temple and a new experience.

Assemble at Rishikesh and begin the journey into the Garhwal Himalayas. Drive through picturesque mountain roads via Barkot before reaching Janki Chatti.

- Reach Janki Chatti and settle into the hotel.
Begin the sacred trek towards Yamunotri, the first Dham of the journey. After darshan and time at the temple, return to Janki Chatti and continue the journey towards Uttarkashi.
- Begin the trek to Yamunotri Temple.
- Offer prayers to Maa Yamuna.
- Visit Surya Kund and Divya Shila.
- Return to Janki Chatti.
- Continue through the Himalayan landscape towards Uttarkashi.
Travel through the beautiful Bhagirathi Valley towards Gangotri. Spend time at the sacred temple and experience the peaceful Himalayan surroundings before returning to Uttarkashi.
- Drive through the Bhagirathi Valley.
- Seek blessings at Gangotri Temple.
- Visit Kedar Ganga Sangam.
- Spend time amidst the serene surroundings.
- Return to Uttarkashi.
Leave Uttarkashi and begin the long, scenic drive towards the Kedarnath region. Witness the changing Himalayan landscape along the route and arrive at Sitapur to prepare for the next day's sacred trek.

- Rest and prepare for the Kedarnath trek.
One of the most important days of the journey. Begin the sacred trek from the Gaurikund region towards Kedarnath and reach the holy shrine of Lord Shiva.

- Reach the holy shrine of Lord Shiva.
- Visit Kedarnath Temple for darshan.
Spend the morning in the sacred surroundings of Kedarnath before beginning the descent. Visit Bhairavnath Temple, trek back towards Gourikund and continue towards Ukhimath.

- Reach Gourikund.
- Continue by road towards Ukhimath.
Continue deeper into the Garhwal Himalayas towards Joshimath. Along the way, visit sacred temples and travel through some of Uttarakhand's beautiful river valleys and confluences.
- Visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple.
- Seek blessings at Omkareshwar Temple.
- Drive through Karnaprayag.
- Pass through Nandprayag.
- Arrive at Joshimath.
Visit the final Dham of the journey — Badrinath. After darshan, explore Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Indo-Tibetan border.

- Return to Joshimath.
Begin the return journey through the breathtaking Himalayan valleys. Pass several sacred Prayags before arriving at Rishikesh, marking the conclusion of the Char Dham Yatra.
