Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Sankri

The journey begins with arrival at Sankri, a picturesque Himalayan village that serves as the base for several treks in the Uttarkashi region. Trekkers meet the team, complete preparations, and attend a briefing about the trek.

The rest of the day is spent acclimatizing and exploring the scenic surroundings.

Altitude: 6,400 ft

Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Talab

The trek begins with a gradual ascent through dense forests of pine and oak trees. The trail leads to Juda Ka Talab, a beautiful alpine lake surrounded by forests and mountain landscapes.

Trek Duration: 4–5 hours

Day 3: Juda Ka Talab to Bhoj Gadi

The trail continues through dense forests and gradually climbs toward Bhoj Gadi, a scenic campsite located near alpine meadows.

The surrounding landscapes provide stunning views of nearby mountain peaks.

Day 4: Bhoj Gadi to Phulara Ridge

Trekkers begin the climb toward the breathtaking Phulara Ridge. The ridge walk offers one of the most unique trekking experiences in the Himalayas, with expansive views of valleys and snow-covered peaks on both sides.

The campsite is located near the ridge with spectacular panoramic views.

Day 5: Phulara Ridge to Taluka

After enjoying the ridge views, trekkers descend through scenic forest trails toward Taluka Village.

The trail passes through beautiful valleys and traditional Himalayan landscapes.

Day 6: Return to Sankri

The trek concludes with a drive back to Sankri, marking the end of a memorable trekking adventure through the scenic landscapes of Uttarakhand.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to undertake the Phulara Ridge Trek is between May to June and September to November, when the weather remains pleasant and the mountain views are clear.

During these months, trekkers can enjoy lush green meadows, clear skies, and breathtaking Himalayan scenery.
