Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Lohajung
The journey begins with arrival at Lohajung, a beautiful mountain village that serves as the base camp for the Brahmatal Trek.
Trekkers meet the trekking team, complete preparations, and attend a briefing about the trek. The rest of the day is spent acclimatizing and exploring the surrounding Himalayan landscapes.

Day 2: Lohajung to Bekaltal
The trek begins with a gradual ascent through dense forests of oak and rhododendron. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.
Trekkers reach Bekaltal Lake, a serene high-altitude lake surrounded by forested slopes.

Trek Duration: 5–6 hours
Day 3: Bekaltal to Brahmatal
The trail climbs through forested paths and open meadows with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
Trekkers reach Brahmatal Lake, a stunning alpine lake that remains frozen during winter, creating a magical landscape.
Trek Distance: 7 km
Day 4: Brahmatal to Brahmatal Top – Return to Daldum
Trekkers head toward Brahmatal Top, the highest point of the trek. The summit offers breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Trishul and Mt. Nanda Ghunti.
After enjoying the spectacular scenery, the group descends to Daldum campsite.

Day 5: Daldum to Lohajung
The trail descends through scenic forests and mountain trails back to Lohajung village, marking the completion of the Brahmatal Trek.

Day 6: Departure
After breakfast, trekkers begin their return journey from Lohajung, concluding the Brahmatal trekking adventure.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to undertake the Brahmatal Trek is between December to March, when the region is covered with snow and offers a classic winter trekking experience.
Trekkers can also visit during April to June for pleasant weather and clear mountain views.
