Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Sari Village
The journey begins with arrival at Sari Village, the starting point of the Deoriatal Chandrashila Trek.
Trekkers meet the trekking team, complete preparations, and attend a briefing about the trek. The rest of the day is spent acclimatizing and exploring the beautiful mountain village.

Day 2: Sari to Deoriatal
The trek begins with a gradual ascent through forest trails toward the beautiful Deoriatal Lake.
Upon reaching the lake, trekkers enjoy breathtaking reflections of surrounding Himalayan peaks in the clear waters.

Day 3: Deoriatal to Chopta
Trekkers continue through scenic forest trails and open meadows toward Chopta, a beautiful hill station often referred to as the “Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand.”

Day 4: Chopta to Tungnath and Chandrashila Summit
This is the most exciting day of the trek as trekkers climb toward Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world.
From Tungnath, the trail continues to the Chandrashila Summit, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba.
