A Sacred Pilgrimage to the Abode of Lord Vishnu in the Himalayas

Badrinath Yatra is a spiritually significant pilgrimage located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. This journey takes pilgrims to the sacred Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and one of the Char Dhams of India.

The journey passes through scenic mountain roads, river valleys, and Himalayan landscapes, offering breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks and flowing rivers.

The highlight of the yatra is the darshan of Lord Badrinarayan, along with a holy dip in Tapt Kund, a natural hot water spring.

With its deep spiritual importance and serene Himalayan setting, Badrinath Yatra is one of the most peaceful pilgrimage experiences in India.

Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar / Rishikesh to Joshimath

The journey begins from Haridwar or Rishikesh and proceeds toward Joshimath.

Pilgrims travel through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and scenic Himalayan roads, witnessing river confluences.

Day 2: Joshimath to Badrinath

The journey continues toward Badrinath, passing through beautiful mountain routes.

Upon arrival, pilgrims visit the sacred Badrinath Temple and take a holy dip in Tapt Kund.

Day 3: Badrinath Temple Visit & Nearby Exploration

This day is dedicated to darshan and exploration.

Pilgrims visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Saraswati River, and Charan Paduka, experiencing spiritual and scenic beauty.

Day 4: Return Journey

After morning darshan, pilgrims begin the return journey toward Rishikesh or Haridwar, concluding the yatra.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Badrinath is between May to June and September to October, when the temple remains open.
