Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Base Village

The journey begins with arrival at a small mountain village in the Garhwal region that serves as the starting point for the Gupt Khal Trek. Trekkers meet the expedition team, complete preparations, and attend a briefing about the upcoming trek.

The rest of the day is spent acclimatizing to the mountain environment.

Day 2: Base Village to Forest Campsite

The trek begins with a gradual ascent through dense forests filled with oak, pine, and rhododendron trees. The trail passes through scenic mountain paths offering beautiful views of the surrounding valleys.

Trekkers reach the forest campsite surrounded by peaceful Himalayan landscapes.

Day 3: Forest Campsite to Alpine Meadow Camp

Day 4: Alpine Meadow to High Camp

Trekkers climb higher into the mountains as the trail moves toward a high-altitude campsite. The terrain becomes rocky and rugged with breathtaking views of glaciers and surrounding Himalayan peaks.

The high camp serves as the base for crossing the Gupt Khal pass.

Day 5: Crossing Gupt Khal Pass

This is the most challenging and exciting day of the trek. Trekkers begin early in the morning to ascend toward Gupt Khal, the highest point of the trek.

The climb involves navigating through snowfields and steep mountain slopes before reaching the summit of the pass.

From the top, trekkers enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges.

Day 6: Descent to Lower Valley Campsite

After crossing the pass, trekkers descend into a remote alpine valley surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes and glacial streams.

Day 7: Trek Toward Base Village

The trail gradually descends through alpine meadows and forest trails as trekkers make their way back toward the base village.

Day 8: Departure
