Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Joshimath / Karchi Village
The journey begins with arrival at Joshimath, the base hub for the trek. After meeting the team and completing preparations, a short drive takes you to Karchi Village. Spend the evening acclimatizing to the mountain environment.
Altitude: ~6,150 ft
Day 2: Karchi Village to Akhrotghetta – Trek Begins
The trek starts through dense forests of oak, pine, and rhododendron. The trail gradually ascends with beautiful valley views and shaded paths, leading to the peaceful campsite of Akhrotghetta.

Trek Duration: 4–5 hours
Day 3: Akhrotghetta to Khullara Camp
The trail opens into alpine meadows as the forest begins to thin. Trekkers get their first clear views of snow-covered Himalayan peaks while heading toward Khullara, one of the most scenic campsites.

Altitude Gain: Gradual ascent
Day 4: Acclimatization & Summit Preparation
A short trek to higher ridges helps with acclimatization and prepares trekkers for the summit day. Practice on snow (if present) and understand the terrain before the final climb.
Day 5: Pangarchulla Summit and Return to Khullara
The most challenging and rewarding day of the trek. Start early and climb through steep slopes, snow sections, and rocky ridges to reach Pangarchulla Peak.
The summit offers breathtaking 360° views of the surrounding Himalayan giants. After spending time at the top, descend carefully back to Khullara.

Day 6: Trek Back to Karchi Village
Begin the descent through meadows and forests back to Karchi Village. Enjoy a relaxed walk and celebrate completing the summit trek.

Day 7: Return Journey to Rishikesh
After breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh with unforgettable memories of the Pangarchulla summit and Himalayan adventure.
