Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Sankri
The journey begins with arrival at Sankri, a small mountain village that serves as the base for many treks in the Uttarkashi region. Trekkers meet the team, complete necessary preparations, and attend a briefing about the trek.
The rest of the day is spent acclimatizing and exploring the scenic surroundings.
Altitude: 6,400 ft
Day 2: Sankri to Taluka – Trek to Seema
After breakfast, the team drives from Sankri to Taluka, the starting point of the trek. From Taluka, the trail follows the Supin River and gradually ascends through beautiful forests and mountain landscapes.
Trekkers reach Seema village, a peaceful campsite surrounded by lush greenery.

Day 3: Seema to Har Ki Dun Valley
The trail continues through dense forests and traditional Himalayan villages such as Osla, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich culture and heritage.

Day 4: Exploration of Har Ki Dun Valley
This day is spent exploring the beautiful Har Ki Dun Valley. Trekkers can enjoy panoramic views of the Swargarohini peaks, alpine meadows, and vast mountain landscapes.
The peaceful environment and stunning scenery make this one of the most memorable days of the trek.

Day 5: Har Ki Dun to Seema
After enjoying the valley, the group begins the descent back toward Seema campsite. The return journey offers different perspectives of the forests, rivers, and mountain views along the trail.
Day 6: Seema to Taluka – Drive to Sankri
Trekkers descend through the same scenic trail back to Taluka, from where the team drives back to Sankri.
This marks the completion of the trekking journey.
Day 7: Departure from Sankri
The trek concludes with departure from Sankri, leaving trekkers with unforgettable memories of the beautiful Har Ki Dun valley and its breathtaking Himalayan landscapes.

The best time to undertake the Har Ki Dun Trek is between April to June and September to November, when the weather is pleasant and the mountain views are clear.
